Gorgeous and complex. Eleanor just finished the novel so we watched the film a second time. It loses some of the surprise elements on a second viewing, but retains its depth. I still missed a lot, as the chronology is not sequential, so it's hard to know when things happened, or in some cases, didn't happen.
Painful, and satisfying, a must see.
