Review of Atomic Blonde (2017) by Seth S — 05 Aug 2017
This 'feminist' version of a John Wick movie has a great performance by much of its cast, led by Theron. With some skilled action, somewhat witty dialogue, and a cool 80's backdrop Atomic Blonde can be entertaining at times, but by the time the credits roll, it tries to come off as intelligent and slick, when the movie definitely does not earn that praise.
Go re-watch John Wick (1 or 2) or a true badass character of Ms. Theron's in Mad Max Fury Road.
