Review of Atomic Blonde (2017) by Richard S — 22 Jan 2018
Atomic Blonde is based upon the graphic novel, The Coldest City so as you can imagine this particular spy / action thriller brings a certain type of action to the big screen. It's fast paced and action packed with some great sequences taken straight from the pages of the comic book.
Charlize Theron was spot on in the lead role as was James McAvoy as her dubious contact in 1980's Berlin. Being set in the 80's also meant it had an awesome soundtrack, definitely one to add to the collection.
