Review of Atomic Blonde (2017) by Catherine O — 11 Jul 2017

I just saw a special screening for Atomic Blonde. Charlise Theron is beyond compare as a super cool, super tough, super sexy double agent! I'm not one for action movies and sometimes get a little lost in spy thrillers, but this movie is worth watching just for Charlise and her amazing whoop ass! The back and forth between the debrief scenes and the action scenes are a bit tiresome, but you anxiously keep watching Charlise and waiting for the next amazing scene to happen.

The 80's soundtrack is so good--Til Tuesday and Flock of Seagulls among others--can't wait to buy it! The gritty city and neon lights set the mood perfectly for that time. And to top it all off, Charlise gets THE GIRL! So looking forward to a franchise on this one!
