Review of Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001) by Cole M — 30 May 2012
Easily one of the biggest Disney failures, "Atlantis" has a lot: stunning animation, a witty script, and some nice voice-acting. However, this film wants to be an epic, but is only 95 minutes long.
The film should have been longer and spent more time looking at the Atlantian culture (ie. "Let us stay for one night". It may be imposing, but why not three nights? Or a week?). However, I do enjoy this film enough as is to recommend it.
