This movie is grossly underrated. Like treasure planet it is a forgotten work of art. Through great character development and even better voice acting by Michael J Fox and Lenoard Nimoy this film was never truly appreciated.
What was a mere VHS library find in my childhood has turned into one of my favorite animations. Its worth a watch.
