Review of Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001) by Travis M — 27 Dec 2009
"Atlantis: The Lost Empire" offers so much great entertainment that never gets boring. The 95 minute run time that this film carries seems to fly by when you get into a story like the one in this film. It is a very colorful film that has something going on every second of the film. The story does not seem to be rushed at all and seems like 95 minutes is a perfect run time for a film like this. You get to know all of the characters pretty well and there are even a few jokes scattered about throughout the film. Not only is this film an entertaining one but it is also a very fun one with a great story.
Gary Trousdale and Kirk Wise did a wonderful job with this film by telling a great story and using great animation style within the film. It's a very colorful film, with a great cast of funny characters. This film includes a very good cast of actors who all did a very good job with the voice-over work.
Overall, I was really pleased with this film. I wasn't sure how good it was going to be going in, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it was something that I enjoy. It's a perfectly paced film that is packed with lots of unique and creative animation styles and characters as well as a good story with great dialogue.
