Review of Atlantic City (1944) by Ben D — 20 Mar 2012
It is tragic that this little gem is overlooked as it is a brilliantly-written, well-acted, and bittersweet film about people looking for a higher purpose in life. The greatest strength of the film is that I cared for the characters and truly wanted them to succeed.
This is one of the best films ever made and I hope that more people see this. Magical!
