Review of At the Circus (1939) by Jen M — 20 Aug 2005
As far as Marx brothers comedies go, this is mostly middle-of-the-road stuff. It's far from hilarious, but there are enough interesting comic set-pieces to keep it mostly entertaining.
The highlight is Groucho, as conniving lawyer J. Cheever Loophole, singing "Lydia, the Tattooed Lady.".
