Kilmer shines!
Val Kilmer once again gives us a brilliant performance that deserves much more attention than it received. His portrayal of a blind man is very convincing and it is only a shame that he was not allowed to flesh out the feelings and process what Virgil went through as he dealt with his new-found vision.
