Review of At First Sight (1999) by Adonis102 — 12 Jul 2018
One of Val Kilmer's best roles along with The Salton Sea, Heat & Batman Forever. He nails his role as a blind masseur who meets an architect from New York. Amy is played by Mira Sorvino from Mimic, she also complements the movie in every scene she's in.
They become involved and she recommends that he has surgery to regain his sight. He agrees and then he moves to New York to live with Amy. He explores a lot of New York and his story is even featured on the news.
I won't spoil the end because it is suprising. Overall this movie is unique, intriguing, emotional, brilliantly acted & a journey well worth taking.
