Defoe is excellent in this slow, poorly shot movie. Director of photography was so self absorbed with his artsy dizzying shots, I had to close my eyes a couple times. The excessive shots of Van Gogh's shoes while walking.
.. who needed that? Sorry, not worth the movie price nor time.
