Review of Asterix and Cleopatra (1968) by Matthias . — 29 Jun 2008
The mighty Gauls help out Cleopatra when she bets a wager with Julius Ceasar that she can build a temple within a certain period of time. I do enjoy the Asterix cartoons but this one grated on me. The three musical interludes I fast-forwarded through, esp when Cleopatra was singing and a lot of the animations were repeated through and through.
Probably the weakest Asterix cartoon I've seen.
