Review of Assault on Wall Street (2013) by Tracy S — 16 Nov 2013
I'm kind of blown away by all the people that trash this film. I thought it was exceptional. Granted, I may be a soft touch for a movie that actually speaks a loud about the heinous discrepancy of wealth and callous disregard for the lowly peons among us, and lately I am especially galled that we're going to have to pay a 'fine' for not purchasing from private insurance companies in light of the huge wall street tax-payer-funded bailouts, but I thought this movie delivered.
Well. I also thought the acting was top notch. I was unaware of Uwe Boll before this, and it appears he has quite a crowd of haters. I thought this was executed brilliantly in that I never felt like I was watching a production, but rather that I had a window into someone's life.
