Review of Assassin's Creed (2016) by William W — 22 Feb 2017

This movie is getting way too much hate. It's as if the people never played the older Assassin's Creed games. Also, people want to say they put to much emphasis on the plot and it was bad, but I thought it followed the first game pretty close. Yeah there were a few slow scenes and the ending wasn't too climatic, but I thought they focused a lot on the parkore style fighting and just let the plot follow in suit. The visuals were fantastic and the music was solid.

Minus a few changes, I thought they did the first game justice. I recommend anyone that hated this movie to go back and play the first game and watch the movie Street Fighter. After that you'll appreciate this movie more and see how far we've in adapting video games into movies. It's a shame this movie might not get a sequel now and I'm ashamed that I didn't see the movie in theaters. Next time I'll trust my gut and filter out all these fake (news) reviews lol.
