The Assassins Creed Series is my favorite series, not just of all time but in my top ten video game franchise. So When I heard they were going got make a movie that is based on the Video Game that is set in the same universe but has an original story that expands the series, not gonna lie I was hyped up and thought to myself, they can't mess this up and if they're going to change the lore, change the lore in a very interesting way.

Then I saw the movie, and oh boy, was I extremely disappointed. First of all, they made Michael Fassbender's character look like a complete idiot, and I love Michael Fassbender. They made the Animus a Stretching arm thing that made me think that the Director did not play the game.

The Special Effects are garbage, especially in the past sequences, which BTW this movie focuses more on the Present than in the past, which is really stupid because, in the games, they focus more on the Past than in the Present.

The only good thing about this movie is the Parkour, and that's it. Thank god the Sequel got canceled because the movie is already ruined. If you're interested in the series and if you are going to watch the movie first before playing the games, play the games first like play 1 through Black Flag, your find yourself having a good time playing the games, and if your curious about the movie, I will say watch the movie at your own risk.

If you have already seen the movie without playing any of the games, and you liked it, I still say go check out the games still because it's worth your time. In the end, this movie is not considered canon and is a crime to all fans of the series.
