Ultimately a forgettable film, Assassin's Creed is the film adaptation of the beloved video game series of the same name. However, it is the poor imitation of it, in ways including the story and action.
It is simply a retelling of the first game, except less interesting with a different plot. Otherwise, it follows similar points. It's as if those involved with this film completely ignored its source material.
The performances of Fassbender, Cotillard and Irons are the only reasons to watch.
