Review of Assassination of a High School President (2008) by Basanta O — 04 Oct 2009
Assassination of a High School President isn't bad, very different approach to the high school noir to Brick, more humour for the most part and the dialogue is more natural, but the clumsy metaphors and predictable plot let it down, even if Bruce Willis' comic timing is at times genius.
Give it a go, but if you're expecting the next Brick you'll be let down by this very different, not to mention shallower and less cerebral film.
