Review of Assassination of a High School President (2008) by Caleb M — 17 Nov 2010
A marginally entertaining teen comedy that never manages to feel like anything more than a watered-down version of Brick. It doesn't utilize it's R rating either. You'd expect something more inspired or daring than a paintball gun or a few swears here and there in a film with "Assassination" in it's title, no? Still, it passes the time, and Reese Daniel Thompson is surprisingly charismatic.
He's got some annoying child-actor ticks, but he's not half bad.
