I see a wide divergence of opinions on this film. I imagine it's trying to compare the centuries old mass hysteria and hypocrisy in Salem, Mass. with the insane social media ramifications in the modern day Salem.

So to make this point the viewer will be subjected to blood soaked nihilism to the nth degree, in every vulgar way imaginable. Torturous for me to stay with, and by the time we get to the surprise ending I couldn't have cared less.
