Review of Ashes and Diamonds (1958) by Pavandeep S — 11 Sep 2008
A stunningly metaphorically film where it is easy to pay attention to the details and to every word which is very well done and also the amazingly theatrical and exaggerated action like the burning body and the collapsed Christ statue bring out varied meanings of the state of Poland as it goes through its life in the world.
