One of the most mesmerizing character pieces and one of the most well written movies of all time. The performances from all are fantastic and each character stands out from the rest but it's Nicholson who brings one of the most memorable and layered characters to life.
A man you start out being disgusted with but so fascinated by; turns out to be loved by the viewer and still so fascinated with. He stands out among the most well written characters in cinema. As Good as It Gets is a love story like no other with characters who start as the polar opposite of one another and as it progresses, they find feelings they never thought possible.
It's funny, heartwarming and hard to watch in some scenes but you can never look away. One of the must see films of the 90s.
