Review of As Good as It Gets (1997) by Rikki C — 27 Nov 2009
Romantic comedy- drama in which the main character is a writer with obsessive-compulsive disorder. This necessitates a lot of dark humor in which the Nicholson character insults and offends people right and left.
However, any film that makes one laugh and cry has to be good right? You must see this if you a big fan of small dogs or romantic comedies. The funniest part for me is when Nicholson calls a bartender "A moron pushing the last legal drug.
" The film is also an indictment of our current health care system. This film will surprise you in more ways than one.
