As Above So Below.
A team of explorers look for the Philosophers stone, but can't find their way out when they discover dark secrets deep under the Streets of Paris.
I just have to say that this movie was very very good. The found footage aspect of it worked throughout most of the movie. There was moments when I thought it didn't need to be there, but for the most part, thumbs up, with yet another found footage movie.
The acting is what surprised me the most in this movie. There are people in front and behind the scenes that seemed like they knew, and cared about what they were doing.
People are complaining that this movie never really got that scary. And I would have to disagree on that because we are so used to Hollywood giving us stupid, over the top horror movies, that this movie never really got over the top, but was very creepy, and had legitimate scares throughout.
The story had an instant connection to Harry Potter, lol. But I was invested into it.
Now I do have some problems with this film. It does every once and a while run into horror movie cliches, and does take a while to get started.
But overall I liked it a lot,.
And give.
