Review of As Above, So Below (2014) by Darren O — 02 Oct 2014
As Above/So Jumpscare utilizes a key aspect of horror films so well that it overshadows everything else that is just as important, such as depth and reasonable scares, which begs one to question whether the film could've been reasonably good if it chose to break the mediocrity mold that found footage horror films have cozily wrapped themselves around, by focusing on other aspects as much as it focused on its sound direction and effects.
