So this is a lot like Devil's Pass in the way that it's done, and I absolutely love it. It's also sort of Grave Encounters-ish which I guess is also sort of Devil's Pass-ish. It's like the Holy (modern) trinity of groups of people investigating stories/myths and finding gateways.
And I adore all three.
