Review of Arthur Christmas (2011) by Andrew M — 17 Jan 2013
Georgia's 2nd trip to the cinema and a less successful way to keep her entertained. She instead played on Laura's phone for the whole film. But, it was actually a better film, albeit a bit complicated for a three-year old, creating a whole technical explanation for how Santa can possibly work being a bit much to take for someone who's only just got used to the idea of Santa in the first place.
But, that aside, it's a lot of fun, sweet and amusing, with a good voice cast - James McAvoy, Hugh Laurie, Jim Broadbent and Bill Nighy as different generations of the Christmas family. Could become one of those Chrimbo perennials.
