Review of Artemis Fowl (2020) by Flaaven — 15 Aug 2020

The only positive factor of this(I cant even call this a movie) is the cast with Judi Dench and Colin Farrel, who shot his role in 3 days by the way and is better than everyone involved in there. Thats due to the choppy dialogue everyone has to say.

I feel bad for Ferdia Shaw, the actor who played Artemis Fowl II because he will mostly get the hate of his lifetime because of his weak performance due to the bad script. The original movie was roughly 120 minutes long and Im glad that thats not the case because those 90 minutes were the most boring minutes I have had with live-action disney movies.

Also 90 minutes arent enough for a start into a new franchise. The whole movie has no identity and doesnt seem to know what It wants to be. $125 Million USD got spend on a movie that has no cohesive storyline, no great visuals and bad acting.
