Review of Art School Confidential (2006) by Farouk A — 28 Sep 2009
Haha this film was awesome I loved the humor and cynical perspective it took at looking at art. Honestly I picked this up on a whim and mostly because Anjelica Huston was in it. But she's only in it for like 5 minutes.
.what a waste of talent. But anywho glad I did watch it. I loved the jokes and art school cliches I don't know if it's true since I've never been to art school but I sure did find them funny.
I'd have to say all the characters are interesting I loved Jerome's two roomies especially the gay guy he was hilarious. Also I liked the randomness of the film and the whole serial killer sub-plot that was going on it was just ridiculous but in a good way.
The sub-plot of the undercover cop kind fell through towards the end of the film it was glazed over so quickly. But the ending was great perfect fit for this bizarre film.
