Review of Arsenic and Old Lace (1944) by Sarah K — 04 Jun 2008
You can't go wrong with this movie. It's laugh out loud funny, it's scary, and it's kooky in an enjoyable way. Cary Grant is amazing in this film; hamming it up enough where it doesn't seem over the top.
Not only that, there's a character who thinks he's Teddy Roosevelt as well as two sweet little old ladies who think nothing of thirteen bodies in their cellar. It's been a long time since a movie has made me laugh as much as this one!
