Review of Arsenic and Old Lace (1944) by Jasdeep C — 28 Sep 2008
One of my favourite Cary Grant movies. He plays Mortimer Brewster, a confirmed bachelor who ends up marrying the girl next door. He goes home to Brooklyn to tell his kindly old aunts the news, and discovers a dead body in the window seat.
From there, chaos ensues. Some of the acting is a little over-the-top but it's done to great effect. A great movie to watch on Halloween night with a group of friends.
