Review of Arsenic and Old Lace (1944) by Kevin L — 28 Jan 2009
To be honest this is without doubt my absolute favorite movie. I first saw it when I was about 10 years old and then ran up the stairs screaming charge waking everyone in my house. I really hope my school does this as a play at some point because I love it so much.
I will admit it can seem like it drags on a little at times, but I feel they make up for that by saying some of the funniest(While being well written) dialogue I have ever heard.I love the cast, They all do a great job acting and appear as well likable characters, especially Teddy. My favorite parts would consist of when Mortimer is nearly killed while criticizing a play by acting out what he saw and the ending in which he loses his mind and even Teddy thinks he has gone insane.
