Review of Arsenic and Old Lace (1944) by Kyle G — 13 Oct 2011
The perfect Halloween movie: a hilarious, spry adventure with a moveable twist. Mixes horror and comedy in a way that, aside from some of Cary Grant's smarmier mugging, can be surprisingly and excitingly harmonious.
It's a warmhearted Frank Capra picture, but the dramatic kicks are never predictable, never manipulative.
