Review of Arsenic and Old Lace (1944) by Vadim D — 16 Aug 2014
The film goes back and forth in it's tone, and sometimes is a dark comedy, and other times more of Capra's screwball style. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. The darker tone is more satisfying, mainly because of actors such as Peter Lorre (who is one of the most memorable actors in cinema).
