Review of Arrival (2016) by Sky P — 11 May 2018
Captivating and powerful. This movie takes it's time to set up some dense concepts, without feeling like it's dragging it's feet. Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner offer a breath of reality into what could have easily become another over the top sci-fi performance.
Arrival does not assume its audience to be stupid. This is not a summer blockbuster type of sci-fi. This is a thought provoking journey into a side of the genre that is often uncharted. Kudos.
