Review of Arrival (2016) by Akio H — 30 Dec 2017
One of my favourite movies of all time. Going into it I was intruigued that this sci-fi movie was not about blowing things up or curtailing extreme catastrophes. Amy Adams is extremely convincing and helps the plot twist/s really succeed and the soundtrack is phenomenal. As far as sci-fi films go, this is incredibly unique and imaginative from its plot to its aliens.
While Arrival may be a bit cerebral for younger viewers, it manages to be accessible and complex at the same time, and is worthy of all the praise that comes its way.
