Despite the "critics" who rate movies on things other than entertainment value, this movie stinks. The idea that beings with the technology for intergalactic travel wouldn't be able to figure out how to communicate with us (and we'd have to figure out their language) is dopey, boring and uninteresting.
And I hate to ruin the ending, but there is no ending, so there's nothing to ruin. The movie just ends. Very edgy and thought provoking, right? Wrong.
