Review of Arrival (2016) by Denstjiro G — 25 Mar 2017
Arrival is overrated. Slow moving, one wonders why big actors like Jeremy Renner and Forest Whitaker are even in it. Amy Adams really is quite unconvincing in her role as a language expert. She speaks a few words of Mandarin towards the end and hey presto, she is suddenly fluent in alien.
Talking of aliens, they probably steal the show with their oddly shaped spaceships and spider like design.
