Review of Arrival (2016) by Maria D — 31 Jul 2017

Amy Adams is one of my favourite actresses so most of the stars go for her but I truly didn't find this movie appealing in many ways. Some of the pacing was arduous in some places. I am also getting sick and tired of some of America's political undertones of hierarchy, self-righteous heroism If I were from some of those countries they made into antagonists I would be slightly insulted only because this was pure fantasy sci-fi - not based on any historical fact or events.

Presuming how other countries will respond or react to an alien "arrival" is pompous.
