Two massive problems with this movie. 1) The story ruining plot hole introduced by the trip outside to see the loop has a radius. So TORUS gets a call once a day to come to this house then? I think after a couple weeks they would stop coming.
2) This engineer/scientist guy is smart? So how come I can see the problem with his machine and he can't? That he hasn't created a do-over button, he's trapped in his own hell a la Groundhog Day.
Nope, screw it, do-over until the sun burns out.
