A fine attempt, but this film was not nearly as good as it was trying to be. It was completely harmless and intriguing, yet melodramatic and unsatisfying. Christopher Walken gave an outstanding performance, but I still prefer him in [i]Catch Me If You Can[/i] (yes, even over [i]The Deer Hunter[/i]). Chris Cooper you are a thief, Sir!
