Review of Army of Darkness (1992) by Ethan T — 05 Sep 2012

SO FUNNY!!! Hilarious! One of the funniest movies I've ever seen! In the end of Evil Dead 2, As is sent back in time, to medieval times. They make him a slave, thinking he works for Henry, and they attempt to kill him by throwing him in a pit, and the creatures in it will eat him.

But alas, ASH IS TO AWESOME. He starts fighting them, and then gets his chainsaw hand, and starts hacking the monsters, then he escapes it, and they worship HIM. To get back home to his time he has to have a book, the necromancer, but he doesn't say the words right when he tries to get the book, so he awakes the dead.

The skeleton army attacks them, they fight them off, with Henry the reds men, and win, did I mention Ash had a really creepy clone of him that has a messed up burned face and he leads the army? No? Okay, well, now you know.

And it has so many iconic quotes, 'Hail to the king baby' 'Gimme some sugar baby' 'Good. Bad. I'm the guy with the gun' SO MANY AWESOME QUOTES FROM BRUCE CAMPBELL'S CHARACTER ASH! Amazing hilarious movie, highly recommend!
