Review of Armored (2009) by Scott M — 22 Oct 2010
A predictable most of the time, just plain ludicrious some of the time, story and a bunch of slightly below average performances leave you with nothing much here. At the beginning of the film, Matt Dillon's character says that he promises nobody will get hurt.
As an audience, this statement seems completely unncessary because we know this won't possibly be true. Some films embrace their genre's formula, and in so doing, find some new ground to cover.
This film doesn't seem to be aware it's following a formula, and so the fact that it does follow that formula verbatim makes it even less fun to watch.
