Review of Armadillo (2010) by Reko U — 20 Feb 2011
Exciting and unbowing documentary about a group of Danish soldiers that are deployed to Helmand province. Janus Metz paints a confused and manic picture by letting the action speak for itself. The ones that suffer are always the civilians and their plight doesn't go unnoticed.
The actual firefight scenes are truly harrowing and once you see them, you don't really need hollywood anymore.
