Review of Armadillo (2010) by Sing Yin Y — 10 Apr 2011
A realistic portrayal of soldiers' life in the war zone in Afghanistan. It's an amazing feat for the director (and cameramen of course) to follow the soldiers all the way to the war zone so as to make the movie look real.
He does not attempt to make any moral judgements on soldiers' life or their ways of dealing with enemies. The men in the movie are just like every one of us - they also encounter a moral struggle when they fire every single shot of ammo.
