Review of Arlington Road (1999) by Chris N — 14 Jan 2008

This movie completely took me by surprise. The reviews I had read were average, and I wasn't particularly bothered about watching it. After the first 45 minutes, I still wasn't sure, but then the leg work that the 45 minutes had put in began to pay off, and the movie kicked in with a vengeance!

It was strange at first to see Tim Robbins as the bad guy and Jeff Bridges as the good guy, but their acting is so perfect, it works incredibly well.

And the twist at the end was one of the best I have ever seen. Brilliant stuff.
