Review of Arlington Road (1999) by Delarme L — 30 Aug 2008
A shocking and subversive thriller about paranoia and terrorism, Arlington Road paints a bleak picture of what can happen when a segment of the people lose faith in their social order. It's gripping and dark, with great performances from Tim Robbins as a quietly seething suburbanite and Jeff Bridges his cynical, paranoid neighbor.
An air of dread suffuses the movie, and builds as the surprising conclusion looms. Dark and exciting.
