Review of Arlington Road (1999) by Sharif A — 01 Mar 2008
Welcome to the world of the true criminal. Where justice doesnt always prevail and the hero ends up the victim. It can be obvious here why people dont like the movie. While it may be a thriller, its about terrorists and they are not muslim or from any arabic ethnicity, no they are white.
It shows that terrorism doesnt run in a race but through a tragedy lined past that leads to revenge. I know for sure this was one of the best movies that I have seen. The acting was perfect. And even though the movie ends at the lowest note where nothing seems like nothing will get better; where even the slightest glimpse of light is gone like old age tragedy, it makes you think that there has to be a reason why this happened and that there was truth within the ending.
Arlington Road is a movie that lasts through the years. All you have to do is open your eyes.
