Review of Arlington Road (1999) by James A — 22 Nov 2008

This is one of my all time favourite films. I got it free with an Alba DVD player years ago so obviously I thought it would be terrible. After the first 20 minutes I was pretty much convinced my initial suspicions were right.

However, I have a rule that if I start watching a DVD, I watch it until the end - and I'm glad I did. The film builds into one hell of a climatic conclusion, with twists and turns that keep you guessing.

I love films with a twist, and I didn't see this one coming.I'd recommend to anyone who has a little patience to get through the slow start. I gave it 8/10 because it can be slow at times.
