Review of Arlington Road (1999) by Jen M — 11 Dec 2011

There is something very unsettling about the fact this movie was made in 1999. The context is very perceptive to America's post 9/11 paranoia and fear. Thriller-wise, this movie is very effective at evoking suspense from it's edgy soundtrack, disjointed camera angles, and Tim Robbins dark performance.

Letdowns are a watered down feel to the story and Jeff Bridges over the top acting. But the ending... oh the ending. Defiantly check it out.
